McDonald’s Is Majorly Changing The Way You Pay For Your Meal

If you’re a lover of deals, you’re going to eat McDonald’s latest budget-saver right up. On November 1st, McDonald’s will introduce its $6 Classic Meal Deal, and it’s exactly what it sounds like. The new McDonald’s Meal Deal is meant for “deal-seeking customers or those simply looking to treat themselves” (so, everyone). We may not be able to get a Happy Meal from the dollar menu anymore, but this new value may make up for that.

Per the brand’s website, for just six bucks, you can get one of four McDonald’s famous menu items: Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Big Mac, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, or Filet-O-Fish. But wait — there’s more. Each $6 Classic Meal Deal comes with your choice of soft drink or sweet tea of any size, a small helping of World Famous Fries, and your choice of apple pie or one of their seasonal pies for dessert. And remember, you’re getting all of this goodness for only six smackaroos.

Wow. Now that’s a deal.

According to Delish, a Quarter Pounder alone is worth about $5.49 at New York McDonald’s locations. And the entire meal ends up costing you over $9. Sure, that’s still a pretty good deal for an entire meal. But $6 for all that food is so much better.

This news, paired with the fact that the McRib is officially back in store, means that we’re kind of having a McDonald’s-induced freakout.

Like all good things, the $6 Classic Meal Deal isn’t going to stick around forever. If you want to get a piece of the action, head to your local participating McDonald’s to sink your teeth into pure savings — oh, and delicious food.
