If you were to ask me what my top five favorite candy bars are, Twix would totally be up there. They seem so simple, yet they’re so satisfying. Maybe the fact that each package comes with two pieces makes my brain feel like I’m getting more than I would with a standard chocolate bar. Or, maybe caramel and cookie are just an A+ combination.
Lucky for me, a new product just came out that will let me enjoy my Twix bars in a totally new way. Even better, it’s available at my favorite burger chain.
Even though Burger King often settles with being the #2 burger chain around, they just added a Twix-flavored milkshake that can easily push them up the ranks. Who knew that drinking a Twix would seem so satisfying?
It’s not just the flavor. Burger King’s new concoction also contains pieces of candy, according to Insider. Who knows how Left Twix and Right Twix fans will feel about this combination, as nobody is specifying which side of the Twix bar is being used to create this drink.
It can accompany your Whopper, or just serve as your dessert. Or maybe you can grab two and use one for each purpose. (And then probably feel a little sick. But hey, it was worth it in the moment.)
That new Twix milkshake at #burgerking is good! 😫🤣🤣

Burger King isn’t the first fast food place to offer up a Twix milkshake. At one point, Sheetz had them too.
Local and small chain coffee shops have also attempted the drink. Every version looks pretty incredible.
This is also pre-bottled and available in a lot of locations overseas. It doesn’t look half as good as the other shakes, but if you’re in a chocolate mood, it’ll probably be the perfect easy choice.
But unless you’re in a specific area on the East Coast, you’d probably have better luck just getting your Twix fix at BK. (Or, multiple places if you’re feeling adventurous.)
Just by looking at it, you can tell what it tastes like.
Unlike the Sheetz version, it looks like the candy particles are a little smaller and immersed within the whole shake.

TWIX MILKSHAKE.

The base of the shake is their standard vanilla. According to their website, each one weighs in at 780 calories. Fans already think it’s well worth it.
But, you might want to call your local Burger King before you head out. While all of them should have their milkshake materials in stock, some fans were a little angry at the company for having visited locations without the new shake.
It seems like Burger King is a big fan of Twix in general. On their menu, they also offer up a Twix pie.
The pie was yet another creation that Burger King got right. Apparently the second they were released, they became a new favorite among candy fans.
I tried the Twix pie from @BurgerKing and now i want 4 more. #fatboy

But, let’s talk more about the shake for a minute. Even though everyone at Burger King will absolutely know what you’re talking about if you’re ordering a Twix shake, the official name is “Vanilla Shake Made With TWIX® Pieces.” Which just doesn’t roll off the tongue very easily.
You’ll never catch me at BK but they got my ass with this Twix shake

It’s also topped with whipped cream, which is very important to know. Usually, that add-on just completes the drink and makes it the most crave-able dessert.
Of course, like most wonderful things offered at fast food chains, this is only available for a limited time. So, this might be the best weekend to give it a shot.
Anybody tried that Twix shake from BK?

It’s been a hard week. You deserve to let your problems melt away in a treat that looks like this.
Even if you’re not a huge fan of Burger King, you have to admit that it’s a pretty good place to get a late night sweet treat — like this caramel sundae.
Fingers crossed that Burger King embraces other candy bars in the near future. I’d do anything for a Nutrageous shake. Or, any sort of dessert involving Take 5.
So, how about it, Burger King? Make it happen.
