The Internet Can’t Stop Staring At Starbucks’ New Tea-ramisu Frappuccino

It feels like Starbucks comes out with something new every week, whether it’s a coffee drink, tea, snack, or even merch. The caffeine dealer has created yet another new masterpiece and perfect summer accessory for your hand (and your Instagram feed). Temperatures are rising and this drink could possibly reduce your A/C bill by providing a better and tastier cool-off. It’s a sweet, icy beverage with a kick of caffeine. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to Starbucks’ Tea-ramisu Frappuccino that has recently been released in Thailand and Vietnam locations. That’s right. The kicker is that it’s not available in the U.S. Sorry! But if we were to travel to Thailand or Vietnam, this drink is the afternoon zen we would want on a hot, almost-summer day.

I know you have questions. Hang tight, I have all the answers. Yes, this drink is as fascinating as it sounds. The Tea-ramisu Frappuccino puts a big Japanese twist on the timeless Italian dessert we all love, tiramisu. Are you ready to drool? It’s creamy cheesecake milk and thick Japanese matcha blended with ice and topped with green tea cookie crumble. Holy matcha! Did Starbucks just give us an option to drink cheesecake and green tea by the pool? At the same time!? I’m thoroughly impressed.

Let’s hope that the Tea-ramisu becomes a global sensation.

Starbucks didn’t completely disregard the United States and Canada’s summer caffeine needs. The Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino was also recently released and sounds delicious.

The Midnight Mint Mocha Frappuccino is layered, so let’s dive in. At the bottom, there are scoops of extra-dark cocoa coffee blended with ice and milk. This layer is also infused with mint sugar crystals to add an additional cooling flavor. A creamy whipped cream is the next layer, and the cocoa blend comes back again for the third layer. Whipped cream and dusted cocoa finishes the drink off. Starbucks, just take my money now!
