Little Caesar’s Restaurant Was Caught Serving DiGiorno Frozen Pizza

By now, you know the popular motto — “It’s not delivery, it’s DiGiorno.” But the frozen pizza company might want to change things up soon after a popular fast food restaurant was allegedly busted selling DiGiorno’s product — not their own. How does “It’s not Little Caesar’s, it’s DiGiorno” sound?

Though Little Caesar’s is in the midst of investigating, a now-viral video taken by a customer is pretty telling. While waiting in line, they zoom in on a cart that looks to be behind the scenes. In that cart? DiGiorno pizza boxes. Now, it’s still unclear as to whether or not those pizzas were actually being sold, but they were definitely on location. Fingers crossed it was just a large lunch for the employees. Or, maybe they wanted to see how a popular frozen pizza would taste in a real pizza oven. (We’re hoping for the best!)

The video caught the attention of Twitter users pretty quickly, with many views coming from model Chrissy Teigen. Retweeting the footage, she commented that it’s “the only little caesars I wanna go to,” which DiGiorno probably enjoyed.

See it with your own eyes:

Speaking of the company and social media, they piped in on the video, which was initially uploaded by Twitter user @vinandwesson. Apparently, they’re just as puzzled as the rest of us.

We’re just as curious as you 😂

I love whoever tweets for Digiorno

People tried to get in touch with Little Caesar’s for comment, but they just think the cart of frozen pizzas is a coincidence. “Little Caesar’s only serves freshly baked pizzas made from fresh dough,” they stated. “We think this is probably just a funny coincidence, but are investigating.”

At least it’s a boost to DiGiorno’s ego. Even if it all boils down to a Little Caesar’s employee preferring the frozen brand over their own hot and ready selection, it’s still amazing press.
