When it comes to Goldfish, there are a lot of varieties out there. Personally, the pretzel kind is almost dangerous in my presence. But this? This is something Goldfish fans have never seen before.
If you’re a fan of Pixar, you might know that Toy Story 4 is going to be released this year. With Toy Story films, it’s always worth the wait. Each story that’s made its way into theaters has been worthy of watching a billion times. (And if you have The Disney Channel, that count might actually be accurate.) Goldfish wanted to celebrate the film’s arrival, and they did so the best way they know how — with official Toy Story 4 shapes.
Now, each bag of Goldfish will still contain actual goldfish. But they’ll also be filled with shapes that look just like our favorite cowboy, Woody, and our favorite space ranger, Buzz Lightyear.
The crackers will be limited edition and will arrive before the movie does. They look like the perfect way to celebrate. Plus, adding a mix of shapes in one container makes it seem like even more of a fun snack.
It may seem like an odd pairing, but it’s actually not. Turns out, plenty of people have enjoyed the Toy Story films while feasting on Goldfish, as proved by Twitter.
I just got emotional watching Toy Story 3 while eating Goldfish alone on a Saturday night so...

Yes. You could say I'm living my best life.
It’s possible that the folks behind Goldfish saw the connection. Or, maybe they like the movies just as much.
Since these crackers feature two of the leads from the movies, Goldfish are now perfect for any and all Toy Story viewings. So, you might want to stock up.
First day at my big girl job tomorrow and I'm in bed watching toy story 3 and eating goldfish....

For some people, enjoying Toy Story and Goldfish are two requirements in finding a life partner. Can’t say I blame them.
Those who were quick to jump on the new product are already saying they’re almost life-changing. Check out this tweet:
Felt like complete death until I took an 11 am nap and then woke myself up by eating half a bag of toy story shaped goldfish which somehow revived me completely

But the interesting thing, as per Romper, is that the official release of the snack will be on May 1st. So, not everyone is lucky enough to get their hands on a bag just yet.
Speaking of Toy Story 4, it’s one of the most anticipated films this summer. Some trailers and teasers have come out, and as expected, there are a few more characters.
There’s also the return of Bo Peep, who’s featured on the main images, as well as on the box of Goldfish. Fans know that she left the gang in Toy Story 3, likely due to a yard sale.

The very first teaser trailer also involved a fork, which left some fans confused. But, the people behind the Toy Story franchise know what they’re doing.
[fm_youtube url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDXYRzerjzU"]Aside from the new shapes, the Toy Story 4 goldfish also feature a blue fish. Why? Well, because that seems to be the color most highly associated with the films.
But, if you want to say it’s a nod to Pixar’s Finding Dory, I wouldn’t stop you. She’s definitely my favorite blue fish.
The Goldfish crackers also boast an affordable price. Romper reports they’re only going to cost $2.50.
And the taste is the same cheddar flavor you know and love. It’s just a bummer they won’t be making this in all flavors, since I know someone (cough, me) who’d really like that pretzel version.
Since this is a big movie release, there’s a chance that other Toy Story 4 products are on their way. But it’s safe to say that this is probably one of the most exciting.
This isn’t the first Disney collaboration that Goldfish has done. In 2018, they released Mickey Mouse crackers to celebrate his 90th birthday.
That means that Goldfish may have a deal with Disney and Pixar, especially since they’ve also released special shapes for The Incredibles 2. So, who knows what other fun creations they may think up next?
After Toy Story 4′s release on June 21st, they’re expected to release a ton of other hits, like the live-action Lion King movie. This November, Frozen 2 is finally coming out.
I just know it. Someday when my little girls go off to college or get married, I'm going to dig up an antiquated DVD of Frozen, an old blanky that hasn't been snuggled in years, and sit on the couch while I cry and eat goldfish crackers.

So if Elsa and Anna-shaped Goldfish are something you really want in your life, you might as well start talking to Pepperidge Farm now.
